Q. What is the secret of success in GATE?

A. A strong ambition of doing M. Tech in IIT`s & IISC.

Q. How much time one requires for serious preparation for GATE?

A. It is not necessary to prepare separately. If we are good in B.E. subjects then one needs to practice the previous papers for a month which is very crucial for time management in the exam.

Q. For which subject one has to allot more time in preparation?

A. It is not the measure of time, we need to estimate the concepts in a particular subject. Especially those subjects like Communications, Electronic Theory etc. which we feel difficult..

Q. What is the mode of preparation for GATE exam?

A. The one who has sincerely studied all the subjects in B.E. needs to concentrate more in solving the important problems. For 20 days before the GATE , strictly practice the GATE Model papers.

Q. How to overcome the simple mistakes in the examination?

A. The presence of mind in exam under pressure eliminates most of the simple mistakes. It is very difficult to be focused during the entire exam period. So we need to practice this environment in the class room while listening as well during the preparation.

Q. What are the suggestions to the future aspirants? 

A. Try to be good at your B.E. level itself(i.e. get concepts first). Then practice i.e., apply your thoughts. You will get a good score. The more you put efforts on your subjects the more you will be successful. Of course we need luck at the time of exam.
